Oechslin, Gerber & Gafner
Reductionism lies at the heart of this watch, . In order to create a mechanically simple annual calendar timepiece, Paul Gerber transformed an automatic ETA-Valjoux calibre 7750. It has a full power reserve of 40 hours, generate through only 30 turns of the crown. The mechanism is exclusively operated through a pusher at two o'clock, to start, stop and re-set the chronograph function, and the crown itself, used to change all the other functions. All parts are made in Switzerland. The minimalist approach to the mechanism naturally extended to the utilitarian feel and use of the watch.
